Graves and memorials on the Western Front of Anzacs from the Mildura and Wentworth Districts
Introduction
The aim of this site is to document all graves and memorials of men from the Mildura & Wentworth Districts who fought and died on the Western Front in WW1.
This site was developed as a result of a visit to the Western Front Battlefields in 2016 which included attendance at the Memorial Services at Fromelles and Pozieres to commemorate 100 years since those battles. This visit was in memory of our respective grandfathers who lived in he Mildura district and fought in these battles.
The site now has a searchable database of information relating to the memorials of men from Mildura & Wentworth. At present the content is limited to those men who died during WW1 as a result of service on the Western Front. The work on this database is on-going and we welcome contributions.
